Job summary

Holt Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment across customer sites in the North West. You will diagnose faults, perform planned maintenance and ensure safe, efficient operation, working in a field-based role.

This position covers a local North West territory, offering independence, strong customer relationships and ongoing manufacturer training, with a competitive package and clear career

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working independently in a field-based role.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
• Relevant engineering qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Attend breakdowns and provide timely repairs.
• Complete service documentation accurately.
• Maintain high levels of customer service.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
• Manage van stock and company equipment effectively.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a well-established and growing material handling business to cover the North West.

The Role

As a Mobile Forklift Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a variety of forklift trucks and material handling equipment at customer sites.
