Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer to service, repair and maintain diesel, gas and electric forklifts across Lancashire. The role covers customer sites with travel throughout the region and requires a valid UK driving licence.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults and complete breakdown repairs while delivering excellent customer service in a fully mobile capacity.

Qualifications

• NVQ / City & Guilds in engineering (preferred).
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Experience as Forklift Engineer or Plant Engineer.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining diesel, gas and electric forklifts.
• Traveling to customer sites across Lancashire.
• Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out breakdown repairs and planned maintenance.
• Ensuring equipment safety and compliance with standards.
• Providing excellent customer service on site.

Are you a skilled Forklift Engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding mobile role? As a Mobile Forklift Engineer in Lancashire, you'll be responsible for:

• Servicing, repairing and maintaining diesel, gas and electric forklifts
• Travelling to customer sites across Lancashire
• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out breakdown repairs and planned maintenance
• Ensuring all equipment is safe and compliant with industry standards
• Providing excellent customer service while working on site

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer or Engineer with:

• NVQ / City & Guilds in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential)
• A valid UK driving licence
• Previous experience as a Forklift Engineer or Plant Engineer
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your own workload
• A customer-focused approach
