Job summary

Interaction Technical, part of Interaction Recruitment Group, is seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team in the UK. You will diagnose faults, service and repair forklifts and plant equipment, travel to customer sites and work on diverse mechanical and electrical systems.

The role offers full-time permanent employment with door-to-door travel paid and access to ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in forklift/plant industry is essential.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills are essential.
• Experience with hydraulics, engines and battery systems is essential.
• NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications are desirable.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service, and repair forklifts and plant equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites to complete planned and emergency work.
• Work independently while maintaining high service standards.
• Liaise with customers to provide effective technical solutions.
• Complete job reports and ensure accurate documentation.
• Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Mobile Forklift Engineer

Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Salary: £36,000 - £41,000 (door-to-door paid)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 + overtime at 1.5x

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and growing material handling business, currently seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team.
