Interaction Technical, in partnership with a growing family-owned business, seeks an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to service and repair forklift and related plant machinery across Basildon and surrounding areas.

The role requires diagnosing faults, carrying out servicing and emergency repairs, with independent site work and customer interaction. Competitive salary £40,000-£50,000 DOE, with company van, pension, medical scheme and more.

Formación

• Pneumatics and hydraulics with mechanical and electrical capabilities are essential.
• Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding, repair and service experience is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose faults, service and repair forklift and plant machinery on-site.
• Collaborate with customers on lifting and handling products.
• Work independently at customer sites and coordinate with colleagues to provide solutions.
• Travel to sites to service equipment and implement fixes.
• Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics with electrical/mechanical fault finding.

Mobile Forklift Engineer

Location:Basildon, Essex
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 DOE

Hours: 07:00-17:00 Monday to Thursday, 16.00 finish Friday (49 hour week)

The Company: Interaction Technical have partnered with an expanding family-owned business operating within the forklift supplier and repair industry on their search for an experienced field service engineer / forklift mechanic to join their growing team. Our client has been established for nearly 50 years and are now at a stage of growth where they are looking to add an engineer to the team. If you are an experienced field service engineer / forklift mechanic looking for a new opportunity in and around the Essex area.

The Package:

• Salary between £40,000-£50,000 salary dependent of experience
• Company van & fuel card + limited personal use with van
• 28 days holiday - Inclusive of public holidays
• Overtime paid @ 1.5x Saturdays

The Role:

• Accurately diagnosing faults, servicing and carrying out emergency repairs/breakdowns on forklift and plant machinery.
  • Collaborate with customers surrounding the lifting and handling products.
  • The ability to work independently within the customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and the perfect solution is offered.
  • Actively travelling to sites and carrying out repairs of the equipment and creating solutions.
  • Working on engines, batteries, pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.

The Requirements:

• Previous experience working with pneumatics and hydraulics, alongside mechanical and electrical capabilities (essential)
• Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience (advantageous)
