Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking a Mobile Forklift Engineer in Bath. You will diagnose faults, service and repair forklifts, and respond to breakdowns at customer sites across the region. The role includes travel, reporting, and maintaining high service standards with opportunities for development.

The position offers a 36–41k salary, door-to-door pay, OT at 1.5x, a company van, fuel card, and ongoing training. Mon-Fri, 08:00–17:00 with plenty of overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift or plant industry is essential.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills required.
• Experience with hydraulics, engines and battery systems essential.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair forklifts and plant equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites for planned and emergency work.
• Work independently while maintaining high service standards.
• Liaise with customers to provide effective technical solutions.
• Complete job reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 + overtime at 1.5x

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and growing material handling business, currently seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Role

Requirements

• Previous experience in the forklift or plant industry (essential)

• Experience working with hydraulics, engines, and battery systems (essential)
• Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds – desirable)
• Full UK driving licence
