Job summary

Interaction Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Mobile Forklift Engineer in Bath to diagnose faults, service, and repair forklifts and plant equipment across customer sites.

You will respond to breakdowns, travel for planned and emergency work, and maintain high service standards while liaising with customers to provide effective technical solutions. The role covers engines, hydraulics, and battery systems with ongoing training and progression.

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift or plant industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with hydraulics, engines, and battery systems.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ/City & Guilds is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults, service and repair forklifts and plant equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out reactive maintenance.
• Travel to customer sites for planned and emergency work.
• Work independently while maintaining high service standards.
• Liaise with customers to provide effective technical solutions.
• Complete job reports and documentation.
• Work on engines, batteries, hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical systems.

Mobile Forklift Engineer

Location: Bath, Somerset
Salary: £36,000 - £41,000 (door-to-door paid)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 + overtime at 1.5x

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established and growing material handling business, currently seeking an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join their expanding team.
