Job summary

Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Mobile Food Service Assistant based in the Belfast area. You will assist in food and beverage service, prep counters, and deliver high-standard customer service as part of a team.

The role involves cooking duties, cash handling, stock management, and adhering to HACCP and hygiene standards. A basic food hygiene certificate and a full clean driving licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, service and sales of all food and beverages for the unit
• Preparation of service counter
• Provide the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility
• Work as part of the team to ensure service is delivered on time and to a consistently high standard
• Carry out all cleaning duties as per instruction from line manager or per unit cleaning rota
• Carry out cooking duties
• Clear and wash dishes in the dining area as required
• Deliver hospitality orders to meeting rooms
• Be responsible for cash handling duties under your control
• Assist, when required, with the moving and setting up of furniture for catering purposes in designated areas.
• Keep up to date with current promotions and new products
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary
• Complete any administration as requested which may include recording of food temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills and recording daily sales figures on the system.
• Assist with effective management of stock control and portion control.

Working Pattern:

• 40 hours per week
• 5 working days out of 7
• One weekend on and one weekend off
