Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to support heavy industrial plant across multiple production sites in the South West. You will perform planned preventive maintenance, reactive breakdowns and mechanical repairs while travelling between sites.

The position offers long-term security, overtime, a company van and tools, plus ongoing training within a permanent, full-time role.

Competenze

• Experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Maintenance Engineer in heavy industrial environments.

Mansioni

• Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) across multiple sites.
• Reactive breakdown diagnosis and repairs.
• Replace bearings, gearboxes, motors and drive systems.
• Maintenance of conveyors, pumps, screens, crushers and related process plant.
• Welding and fabrication repairs where required.
• Plant inspections and condition monitoring.
• Support shutdowns and continuous improvement activities.
