Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Mobile) to support heavy industrial sites across the Midlands. This permanent, full-time role offers regional travel with no regular overnight stays and scope to develop your skills in a busy production environment.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults in motors and drives, and work with PLC-controlled equipment within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) experience.
• Experience fault finding on industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment and industrial control systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance across multiple sites.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Working on motors, control panels, drives and industrial equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects and TPM initiatives.
• Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Recording maintenance activities using a CMMS and ensuring safety compliance.
