Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to service heavy industrial equipment across multiple sites in the South West. The role includes PPM, reactive repairs, and mechanical upgrades with a company van and overtime opportunities.

You will travel between sites across Bristol, Gloucestershire & Dorset, performing maintenance on conveyors, pumps, motors and drive systems while ensuring safety and reliability of plant assets.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Ability to travel between multiple sites across the South West.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and perform repairs on conveyors, pumps, and drive systems.
• Replace bearings, gearboxes, motors and drive components as required.
• Carry out welding and fabrication repairs when needed.
• Inspect plant and support shutdowns and continuous improvement activities.
