Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading materials manufacturer for a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to service sites across Bristol, Gloucestershire and Dorset. You will carry out planned preventive maintenance, reactive breakdowns and mechanical repairs on heavy industrial plant, travelling between sites to keep plant reliability high and downtime low.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Maintenance and fault finding across multiple sites.
• Ability to work independently and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns.
• Fault diagnosis and repairs on bearings, gearboxes and conveyors.
• Maintenance of pumps, motors and drive systems.
• Welding and fabrication where required.
• Work across multiple sites ensuring plant reliability and uptime.
• Safe working within Health & Safety procedures.
