Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Mobile) to keep production running across multiple Midlands sites. You’ll perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, diagnose faults and service motors, drives and control panels.

This regional mobile role offers autonomy, a company van, overtime and training with clear long‑term career progression; a valid UK driving licence and BS7671 18th edition are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / Apprenticeship or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
• Experience fault finding on industrial electrical systems.
• Knowledge of motors, drives, PLC-controlled equipment and industrial control systems.
• Experience carrying out planned and reactive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Planned and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults.
• Working on motors, control panels, drives and industrial electrical equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects.
• Carrying out inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Working closely with site operations and maintenance teams.
• Recording maintenance activities using a CMMS.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
