Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a leading materials manufacturer for a Mobile Mechanical Fitter to carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdowns across several operational sites in the South West, with a salary of £40,000–£50,000 per year plus overtime, company van, pension and holiday. The role covers sites in Bristol, Gloucestershire & Dorset.

Qualificações

• Experience in mechanical maintenance and fault finding across heavy industry.
• Ability to work across multiple sites with minimal supervision.
• Welding/fabrication skills advantageous but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on conveyors, pumps, gearboxes and drive systems.
• Replace bearings, gearboxes, motors and drive components as required.
• Support shutdowns and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain plant condition and monitor reliability across sites.
• Work safely according to company HSEQ procedures.
