Job summary

DK Recruitment are recruiting for a Mobile Fabric Engineer on behalf of a leading commercial Facilities Management company. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established FM provider delivering maintenance services across a portfolio of commercial properties throughout Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

As a Mobile Fabric Engineer, you'll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive fabric repairs across a variety of

Qualifications

• Experience as Fabric Engineer, Building Maintenance Engineer, Handyperson or Multi-Skilled Maintenance Operative.
• Strong knowledge of commercial building fabric maintenance.
• Experience in facilities management is desirable.
• Competent in carpentry, decorating and basic plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across multiple commercial sites.
• Complete carpentry, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks.
• Repair doors, locks, windows, ceilings, flooring and partition walls.
• Undertake painting, decorating and tiling repairs.
• Carry out basic plumbing works including taps and toilets.
• Perform routine building inspections and identify maintenance issues.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with procedures and health & safety legislation.
• Accurately complete job reports and update the CAFM system using a handheld device.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and site teams.
