Job summary

Thrive SW is seeking a Mobile Building Fabric Engineer to service a portfolio of sites across Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire. The role covers carpentry, plumbing and other trades with two-way mobility across sites.

Ideal candidates will hold City and Guilds (or equivalent) in Carpentry or Plumbing, with additional DIY and maintenance skills. The position is typically Mon-Fri with a basic salary around £38k, plus pension and sick pay benefits.

Qualifications

• Qualified tradesperson with City and Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry or Plumbing.
• Experience across building fabric maintenance is essential.
• Willingness to cover sites across Berkshire, Hampshire and Oxfordshire.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on building fabric across multiple sites.
• Perform carpentry, plumbing and general repair tasks such as fixing leaks, doors, locks and making good repairs.
• Undertake refurbishments to rooms and offices; replace doors, locks, sinks, basins and toilets.
• Contribute to floor upgrades and other maintenance projects as required.

Are you a Multi Trades Maintenance / Building Fabric Engineer looking for a new role as a mobile engineering position.

Do you have either Carpentry or Plumbing experience / qualifications with other trade skills such as painting, patch plastering, Tiling if so this role could be great for you.

Working for one of the regions leading Facilities Services providers as mobile fabric engineer you will cover a portfolio of sites across the Berkshire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire areas dealing with all aspects of Building Fabric Maintenance

Duties will be Planned and Reactive Maintenance all aspects of building fabrics including Carpentry, Plumbing and general repairs such as - Fixing leaks, doors, locks, and making good areas of repairs.

• Refurbishments to rooms, offices
• Replacing like for like doors, locks, sinks, basins, toilets.
• Floor upgrades

Ideally you will be a qualified trades person with either City and Guilds or equivalent in Carpentry or Plumbing with good skills with other trades and DIY Tasks, we are however open to time served trades people and general builders looking to get more into the maintenance industry.

Previous Multi Skilled Trades works is essential as no training will be given to start, development of skills will be offered once settle and passed probation.
