Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer for permanent work across West London. You will handle planned and reactive maintenance in commercial buildings, performing carpentry, plumbing, painting and minor repairs while safeguarding client relationships and site logs.

The role includes door-to-door travel, a company van with personal use, overtime opportunities and a clear path for career progression within a leading facilities management company.

Qualifications

• Experience in fabric maintenance across building services including carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating.
• Experience covering multiple commercial sites and delivering client-facing service.
• Ability to complete job sheets and site logbooks using an iPad.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive fabric maintenance.
• Perform general building repairs (carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating).
• Do basic patch plastering, tiling, door and lock repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and update electronic logbooks.
• Build strong relationships with clients across West London sites.
• Cover 5–10 sites across Twickenham, Heathrow and Richmond areas.

Location: West London (Twickenham / Heathrow / Richmond)

Salary: Up to £40,000 + Door-to-Door Travel + Overtime + Company Van

Hours: Monday to Friday

Are you an experienced Mobile Fabric Engineer looking for your next role in commercial building maintenance?

We're recruiting for a skilled Mobile Fabric Engineer to join a growing engineering team covering a portfolio of commercial buildings across West London. This is a permanent position offering door-to-door travel, a company van with personal use, excellent benefits, and genuine career progression.

The Role

• Planned preventative and reactive fabric maintenance
• General building repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting and decorating
• Basic patch plastering, tiling, door and lock repairs
• Carrying out routine building inspections and completing electronic logbooks
• Building strong relationships with clients across a portfolio of commercial sites
• Covering approximately 5–10 sites across the Twickenham, Heathrow and Richmond areas

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Mobile Fabric Engineer, Fabric Engineer, Fabric Technician or Maintenance Operative
• Strong all-round fabric maintenance skills
• Experience in carpentry, plumbing, painting, decorating and general building repairs
• Commercial facilities maintenance or building services experience
• Good customer service and communication skills
• Comfortable using an iPad to complete job sheets and site logbooks
• Full UK Driving Licence
