Job summary

Speedy at Erith is hiring a Mobile Engineer to manage equipment service schedules and respond to customer breakdowns on a Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30, 40 hours per week. The role requires a full driving licence, hands-on mechanical engineering experience, and strong communication skills.

• Full driving licence is essential.
• Previous mechanical engineering experience in hire industry or similar field.
• Experience with plant repairs on sites and on-site inspections.
• Good computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team.
• Support ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver.

Responsibilities

• Ensure equipment service schedules are up to date.
• Respond promptly to customer breakdowns and service needs.
• Support site engineers with repairs and inspections as required.
• Contribute to ESG initiatives and Decade to Deliver goals.
• Maintain records and use MS Office for reporting.

• Full driving licence
• Previous mechanical engineering experience is essential, ideally gained within the hire industry or other engineering fieldexperience in plant repairs on sites and also low level access repairs on sites and also on site inspections
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy Decade to Deliver.
