Job summary

Speedy Hire based in the UK is seeking a Mobile Engineer for a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, based at customer sites. You will ensure equipment service schedules are up to date and respond promptly when equipment breaks down to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a full driving licence, prior mechanical engineering experience, good IT skills, and strong communication. You will work independently and as part of a team while supporting ESG initiatives.

• Previous mechanical engineering experience is essential, ideally gained within the hire industry or other engineering field.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team.

Based at our customer sites, the Mobile Engineer plays a key role in our operations, ensuring equipment service schedules are up to date and responding to our customers in their times of need, should equipment breakdown.

What You’ll Need
