Job summary

Speedy are the UK’s leading hire provider based at our customer site in Erith. The Mobile Engineer will ensure equipment service schedules are up to date and respond to customers in their times of need, should equipment breakdown occur. Monday to Friday, 07:00-16:30, 40 hours per week.

The role requires a full driving licence and previous mechanical engineering experience, ideally within the hire industry. Training and career progression are provided, with opportunities for flexible working

Qualifications

• Full driving licence is required.
• Previous mechanical engineering experience is essential, ideally gained within the hire industry or other engineering field.
• Experience in plant repairs on sites and low level access repairs, plus on-site inspections.
• Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to work alone under pressure and as part of a team.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Mobile Engineer - Erith - Monday to Friday - 07:00-16:30 - 40 hours per week

• Full driving licence


• Previous mechanical engineering experience is essential, ideally gained within the hire industry or other engineering field
