Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to support the MET Police estate across North West London. You'll deliver planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding across a portfolio of police stations to keep systems safe, compliant, and fully operational.

On-site role requiring strong fault-finding skills, ability to work across multiple sites, and willingness to join a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota.

Qualifications

• Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation.
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Willingness to obtain MET Police CTC Clearance (up to 7–10 months).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding.
• Complete electrical installations, upgrades and minor works to safety standards.
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and service records.
• Communicate with clients, providing updates and resolving queries.
• Participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota.

• Participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota

Required Qualifications:

• Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation

• Willingness and ability to obtain MET Police CTC Clearance (can take up to 7-10 months)
