Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to support the MET Police estate across North West London. The role involves delivering planned and reactive electrical maintenance, inspections, and fault finding across multiple police stations to keep systems safe and fully operational.

You will join a team dedicated to high-quality electrical maintenance, on-site client liaison, and continuous improvement across a regional portfolio.

Qualifications

• Level 2 & Level 3 City & Guilds 2330 or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Willingness to obtain MET Police CTC Clearance (can take up to 7-10 months)

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding
• Complete electrical installations, upgrades, and minor works in line with safety standards
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and service records
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and resolving queries
• Participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota
