Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to support the MET Police estate across South London, delivering planned and reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding across multiple police stations. The role requires City & Guilds/NVQ electrical qualifications, and you may need MET Police CTC clearance.

You will work on-site and participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota, liaising with the client.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities management or mobile maintenance environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and a proactive, client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, inspections, and fault finding
• Complete electrical installations, upgrades, and minor works in line with safety standards
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation and service records
• Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and resolving queries
• Participate in a 1 in 6, 24/7 on-call rota
