Job summary

Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. in Biggleswade is seeking a Technical Advisor/ Product Support Engineer for the Mobile & Crawler Crane team.

You will support After-Sales and Sales with technical information and resources, assisting service engineers and customers to deliver reliable crane support. The role requires effective communication, teamwork, and flexibility, with occasional off-site meetings and potential overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or qualification in a related industry.
• Product, industry or relevant experience.
• Team player with good communication.
• Flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to Liebherr GB and Liebherr Ireland Mobile and Crawler Crane customers.
• Provide all aspects of technical support to field service and workshop engineers.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with departments and team members.
• Communicate technical information to the right people at the right time, including material from Liebherr Group factories.
• Manage specific jobs and projects and take responsibility for their completion.
• Participate in warranty management, liaising with factories and customers for best outcomes.
• Brief and deploy engineers, ensuring optimum competencies for each job.
• Attend off-site meetings and exhibitions, including overnight stays.
• Participate in a rota-based out-of-hours call-out system.
