Job summary
Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. has a vacancy for a Service Engineer (Crawler Cranes & Foundation Machines) in Biggleswade. You will carry out servicing, inspection and repair of foundation machinery at customer premises or on site, ensuring quality and timeliness.
The role requires an NVQ level 3 apprenticeship (or equivalent), hands-on experience with heavy plant, and a CSCS card. You will build strong customer relationships, work safely, and support depot teams with issue resolution and
Qualifications
- CSCS Card required.
- NVQ level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Experience in heavy plant or relevant industry beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, inspection, and repair of foundation machinery and equipment at customer premises, on site, or at the depot.
- Diagnosing faults and taking appropriate action.
- Returning warranty parts cleaned and on time with proper packing and labeling.
- Reading, understanding and filing all service information.
- Complying with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
- Escalating issues related to damaged equipment.
- Developing strong working relationships with depot support teams and customers.
- Maintaining a safe working environment and completing administration on time.
