Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a mobile Area Relief Officer to cover Lincoln court and tribunal sites. You will oversee access control, monitor activity, and respond to incidents to maintain a safe, welcoming environment across a defined area.

The role is daytime, 40 hours per week, with shifts across multiple sites and no night work. A valid SIA licence, DBS/BS7858 clearance, and a UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass security clearance (DBS/BS7858).
• SIA Licence and relevant security experience.
• Full UK driving licence and own vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Professional, reliable and detail-focused approach.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and adapt to changing priorities.
• Good understanding of security procedures and health & safety practices.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, professional service to all court users.
• Control access to buildings and follow security procedures at all times.
• Operate security equipment including CCTV and screening devices.
• Conduct searches and patrol public/restricted areas.
• Respond to alarms, incidents and security concerns promptly.
• Record and report incidents and activities accurately.
• Support safe movement of people within the building.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and compliance.
