Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Relief Officer to maintain a secure, welcoming environment across Nottingham court sites. You will control access, monitor CCTV and respond to incidents with professionalism, liaising with staff and visitors to ensure safety and good service.

This is a mobile, multi-site daytime role requiring flexibility to cover nearby sites. The ideal candidate holds a valid SIA licence, eligibility for DBS/BS7858, a full UK driving licence with own vehicle, and excellent

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK and the ability to pass DBS and BS7858 clearance.
• Valid SIA Licence and security experience.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee access control and monitor activity at court sites.
• Operate security equipment including CCTV, x-ray machines and handheld detectors.
• Respond to alarms and incidents with professionalism and report findings.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and compliance at all times.
• Support safe movement of people within the building.
• Provide a welcoming, customer-focused service to all court users.
• Patrol restricted areas and coordinate with control points.
