Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Relief Officer to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment across court and tribunal sites around Llanelli. You will oversee access control, monitor activity, and respond to incidents with professionalism.

You’ll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, across multiple sites within a defined radius. A valid SIA licence, enhanced DBS/BS7858 clearance, and a full UK driving licence are required; driving own vehicle preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK and ability to pass an enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance.
• A valid SIA Licence and relevant security experience.
• Full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, welcoming service to all court users.
• Control access to buildings and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Operate security equipment including CCTV, x-ray machines and handheld detectors.
• Conduct searches in line with site procedures.
• Patrol public and restricted areas and report incidents promptly.
