Nottingham City Council is recruiting for a Mobile Cook Supervisor to oversee school kitchen operations across Nottingham and Derby. The role involves planning, delivering meals, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in each site.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-focused environments, cooking for large groups, team leadership, and knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures. DBS check is required; hybrid working may be available in some cases.
Contract Type: Permanent - Term Time Only
Working Hours: 35 hours per week – 7:00am – 2:00pm, Monday - Friday
Worker Type: On-Site worker
Salary: £26,824 - £27,694 per annum (Pro rata for part time) (£21,371.00 - £22,063.00 per annum actual salary)
Location: Various schools across Nottingham and Derby

As a Mobile Cook Supervisor your main duties will be to deal with all aspects of day to day running of various school kitchens from planning to delivery. You will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment used.
A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
