Nottingham City Council is recruiting a Mobile Cook Supervisor to oversee day‑to‑day operations of several school kitchens across Nottingham and Derby, from planning menus to delivering meals. The role is permanent term‑time, 35 hours per week, 7:00am to 2:00pm, on‑site.

Qualifications

  • Ability to manage a team and deliver training and guidance.

Working Hours: 35 hours per week - 7:00am - 2:00pm, Monday - Friday

Salary: £26,824 - £27,694 per annum (Pro rata for part time) (£21,371.00 - £22,063.00 per annum actual salary)

Location: Various schools across Nottingham and Derby

About the Role

As a Mobile Cook Supervisor your main duties will be to deal with all aspects of day to day running of various school kitchens from planning to delivery. You will also be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment used.

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Experience of working in a customer focussed environment
  • Experience of cooking for large groups including the menu planning, ordering cooking and serving
  • Ability to manage a team and deliver training and guidance
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines and understanding COSHH procedures

A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
