Job summary

Nottingham City Council is recruiting for a Mobile Cook Supervisor to oversee school kitchen operations across Nottingham and Derby. The role involves planning, delivering meals, and ensuring cleanliness and safety in each site.

The ideal candidate will have experience in customer-focused environments, cooking for large groups, team leadership, and knowledge of Health & Safety and COSHH procedures. DBS check is required; hybrid working may be available in some cases.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a customer focussed environment.
• Experience of cooking for large groups including menu planning, ordering, cooking and serving.
• Ability to manage a team and deliver training and guidance.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety guidelines and understanding COSHH procedures.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day running of school kitchens from planning to delivery.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen and equipment used.
