Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.
• Willingness to undertake job-related training and development.
• Access to a suitable vehicle or alternative transport for Education Authority duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation of meals and menus.
• Support hygiene, health and safety in the kitchen, including temperature records.
• Assist with stock-taking, stores organisation and deliveries.
• Contribute to training and supervision of other staff.
• Carry out general kitchen duties and cash handling if required.
• Promote the service to parents, principals and customers to increase uptake.
