Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Chef Supervisor to deliver high-quality food services across multiple sites around Preston. The role involves hands-on cooking, recipe adherence, and supervising kitchen operations while ensuring safety and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have relevant City & Guilds/NVQ qualifications, Level 3 Food Safety, and experience supervising teams in fast-paced environments. A UK driving license and own vehicle are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food following recipes and production methods.
• Portion food according to procedures and maintain documentation.
• Monitor food quality and temperature; report issues promptly.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling and prevention of cross-contamination.
• Maintain HACCP compliance and hygiene standards at all times.
• Support day-to-day kitchen supervision and team leadership.
• Promote cleanliness, safety and high standards in the kitchen.
