Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Mobile Catering Assistant to join our team covering schools across the Marches area, primarily Oswestry, West Felton and Shrewsbury, with occasional travel to Whitchurch. You will provide catering support across multiple sites and deliver excellent customer service to pupils and staff.

This role offers 20 hours per week, term-time weeks, with a competitive annual salary and benefits including life assurance, a pension, an Employee Assistance Programme and training

Qualifications

• Experience in catering, hospitality or customer service.
• Full driving licence is advantageous.
• DBS check required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide mobile catering support across multiple school locations.
• Cover Oswestry, West Felton, and Shrewsbury; occasional travel to Whitchurch.
• Assist with food preparation and service.
• Deliver excellent customer service to pupils, staff and visitors.
• Support day-to-day running of school catering operations.
• Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Assist with stock replenishment and general kitchen duties.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
• Work flexibly to support staffing across sites.

We are currently recruiting for a Mobile Catering Assistant to join our team covering schools across the Marches area, primarily supporting sites in Oswestry, West Felton, and Shrewsbury, with occasional travel to Whitchurch. What you'll be doing

• Providing mobile catering support across multiple school locations
• Covering schools primarily across Oswestry, West Felton, and Shrewsbury, with occasional travel to Whitchurch
• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Delivering excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of school catering operations
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness
• Assisting with stock replenishment and general kitchen duties
• Following all health & safety and food safety procedures
• Working flexibly to support staffing requirements across different sites

Qualifications

About you

• Previous catering, hospitality, or customer service experience is desirable
• Flexible and adaptable approach to work
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Positive and customer-focused attitude
• Full driving licence and access to transport would be advantageous due to travel between sites
• Successful candidates will be required to complete a DBS check prior to commencing employment.
