Job summary

McCarthy Stone Ltd is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to join our care team in Stevenage and surrounding areas. You will travel between developments to provide personal care, companionship and lifestyle support to older homeowners. A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car are essential.

The role includes travel expenses covered at 43p per mile, and an overtime-like uplift for evenings and weekends. A probationary period includes a £300 bonus upon passing.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health and Social Care desirable but full training provided.
• You must have strong interpersonal skills, empathy and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas and provide domestic support such as cleaning and shopping.
• Support social activities, transport arrangements and attendance at appointments.
