Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to deliver personal care, domestic services and social support to homeowners in our purpose-built developments.

Based across Huntingdon and surrounding area, the role is field-based and requires travel between developments. A full UK driving licence is essential. Hourly rate £14.50, with 30p extra evenings and £1.30 extra weekends; probation bonus of £300 offered.

Qualifications

• Ideally previous care experience with Level 2 Health and Social Care; training provided if changing careers.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and good time management are essential.
• Domestic or housekeeping experience is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including daily activities, personal hygiene and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas and offer domestic support such as cleaning and shopping.
• Support social activities, transport arrangements and appointments to enhance wellbeing.
