Job summary

McCarthy Stone is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to join our care team across Ilkley and surrounding areas. The role is mobile and field-based, requiring travel between developments with a valid UK driving license and mileage reimbursement at 43p per mile.

We offer an hourly rate of £14.50, with extra allowances of 0.30 per hour for evenings and 1.30 per hour for weekends. 25 hours per week on a rotating schedule including mornings, evenings and weekends, plus a probation bonus of £300.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment with a Level 2 Health and Social Care; training provided for career changers.
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy and time management are essential.
• Valid full UK driving license and access to own car; willingness to travel between developments.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care including assistance with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Maintain communal areas to a high standard and support household tasks.
• Offer companionship and support wellbeing activities and arrange transport as needed.
