McCarthy Stone Ltd is seeking a Mobile Care Assistant to support older homeowners across Huddersfield and surrounding areas. A valid UK driving license and access to a car are essential, as the role is field-based and travel between developments is required.

The position offers an hourly rate of £14.50, with additional earnings of £0.30 for evenings and £1.30 for weekends, and a probation bonus of £300. Mileage is reimbursed at 43p per mile.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Health and Social Care qualification is preferred, with full training provided if needed.
• A valid full UK driving license and access to own car are required.
• Willingness to travel between developments across Huddersfield and surroundings.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas and perform domestic tasks to a high standard.
• Assist homeowners with social activities, transport arrangements, and appointments.
