Job summary

McCarthy & Stone is seeking Mobile Care Assistants to support older homeowners across Morpeth and surrounding developments. This dual role combines personal care and domestic tasks, with travel between sites and a rota covering early mornings, evenings and alternate weekends.

You will work with the Field Care Supervisor and Managers to deliver personalised care, companionship, and wellbeing activities, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment is desirable but not essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy with good time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, including help with daily activities, personal hygiene, and medication assistance.
• Maintain communal areas and provide domestic support (cleaning, shopping, household tasks).
• Assist homeowners with social activities, transport, and appointments to enhance wellbeing and social connections.
• Travel between developments as part of a mobile field-based role.
