McCarthy & Stone Ltd. is seeking passionate Mobile Care Assistants to support older homeowners across Blaydon and surrounding areas. The role combines personal care with domestic tasks and travels between developments, with mileage reimbursed and a competitive hourly rate.

The position offers flexible hours on a rota, including mornings, evenings, and alternate weekends. Travel is required, and you will be supported with training and development opportunities, with potential progression paths

Qualifications

• Experience in a care environment preferred but not essential; full training provided.
• Must have a valid full UK driving license and access to own car.
• Willing to travel between developments on a mobile basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalised care, including help with daily activities and medication assistance.
• Maintain and clean communal areas to a high standard and support household tasks.
• Support social activities, transport arrangements and appointments to enhance wellbeing.
