Job summary

McCarthy Stone is looking for passionate Mobile Care Assistants to join our care team in Morpeth and surrounding areas. This dual role covers personal care and domestic services, with travel between developments and a valid UK driving license essential for consideration.

You'll support homeowners with daily activities, household tasks, and companionship, in a mobile field-based role. The hourly rate is £14.50 per hour, plus 30p extra for evenings, with mileage reimbursement and 25 hours per week

Qualifications

• Care experience in a similar role is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
• Good time management and ability to work on a rota.
• Willingness to travel between developments and support homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and domestic support to homeowners.
• Maintain communal areas to a high standard and assist with household tasks.
• Offer companionship and support wellbeing activities and transport arrangements.
