Job summary

Vertas Group is looking for a dedicated Mobile Assistant Cook to join our Catering Team in Nottingham and surrounding areas. This part-time role covers 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 13:30 across multiple sites, supporting high quality catering and customer service.

You will help prepare and cook meals, serve customers, maintain food safety standards, and assist with stock control and kitchen organisation.

• Previous catering experience is desirable.
• Experience working in a school or commercial kitchen environment is advantageous.

About the Role:

Working across Nottingham and surrounding areas, you will be supporting a variety of catering sites where additional cover is required. You will be working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:30 to 13:30, 39.2 weeks per year. You'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality catering services, ensuring excellent food standards and customer service are maintained at all times.
