Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities management contractor in the UK. The role involves delivering planned and reactive FM maintenance on air conditioning systems across varied sites.

You will operate in a mobile capacity, respond to on-site needs, and maintain thorough documentation. A valid driving licence is essential, and FGAS/ODS qualifications with an apprenticeship or NVQ are preferred.

Qualifications

• Background in a maintenance / facilities management environment.
• Full, current driving licence.
• Willingness to participate in an On-Call rota.
• FGAS & ODS regs, time served apprenticeship, C&G Level 3 / NVQ or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Service maintenance and repair of split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspection reports and remedial work
• You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets / multideck or ice machines

As the Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

To be successful in this role, you must have:
