Job summary

DR Newitt are recruiting an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a well-established facilities and engineering services business. The role is mobile across London, carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on commercial air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.

You will service split AC systems, VRV/VRF equipment and heat pumps, undertake planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults and keep accurate records. An on-call rota is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in air conditioning maintenance in commercial settings.
• Servicing and fault-finding on split systems and VRV/VRF equipment.
• Maintenance/Facilities management background or similar engineering environment.
• FGAS & ODS certification and relevant apprenticeship or qualification.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing split AC systems.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong background in commercial maintenance or facilities management.

• Previous experience working within air conditioning maintenance.
• Experience servicing and fault-finding on split systems and VRV/VRF equipment.
• A background within a maintenance, facilities management or similar engineering environment.
• FGAS & ODS certification.
• A relevant apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ or equivalent qualification.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A professional approach and good customer-facing communication skills.
• Flexibility to participate in an on-call rota.
