Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing facilities management team. The role covers planned and reactive FM maintenance and requires a hands-on engineer comfortable visiting sites across the region.

You will service, repair and calibrate split AC, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps, document work, and work with Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba, LG, and other manufacturers. A driving licence and willingness to be on-call are essential.

Qualifications

• Background in maintenance or facilities management.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
• FGAS & ODS Regulations or equivalent qualification (e.g., City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ).
• Full UK Driving Licence available.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections, reports and remedial work.
• Work across a variety of manufacturer equipment, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba and LG systems.
• May work on refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multidecks or ice machines.

We are looking for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

The Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer will be responsible for:

• Service, maintain and repair split AC systems, VRV/VRF systems and heat pumps.
• Complete all work-related documentation accurately and on time, keeping logs of inspections, reports and remedial work.
• Work across a variety of manufacturer equipment, including Daikin, Mitsubishi, Media, Toshiba and LG systems.
• You may also be required to work on specific refrigeration equipment such as chilled cabinets, multidecks or ice machines.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A background within a maintenance or facilities management environment.
• Willingness to participate in an on-call rota.
• Relevant qualifications, e.g. FGAS & ODS Regulations, a time-served apprenticeship, City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ or equivalent.
