Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to cover Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain, fault-find and repair a range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems at customer sites.

The role offers £37,000–£40,000 base salary with an OTE of £43,000–£50,000+, plus a company van, fuel card, and door-to-door pay. Overtime paid at 1.5x, 30 days holiday, pension, and ongoing training are included.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working on Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

Responsibilities

• Reactive breakdown response and fault diagnosis.
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Working on VRV, VRF, Split Systems, Chillers and Cold Rooms.
• Leak detection, repairs and system testing.

A leading specialist in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration services is looking to recruit an experienced Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

The Role

As a Mobile Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing a variety of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across customer sites.

Your duties will include:

• Reactive breakdown response and fault diagnosis
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Installation and commissioning of HVAC equipmentElectrical and mechanical fault finding
• Working on VRV, VRF, Split Systems, Multi-Splits, Chillers and Cold Rooms
• Leak detection, repairs and system testing
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
• Delivering excellent customer service on-site
• Ensuring compliance with all health and safety requirements

About You

Essential Requirements

• Proven experience working on Air Conditioning and/or Refrigeration systems
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent customer-facing skills
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning
• Previous experience in a field service role
• IPAF, PASMA or CSCS accreditation
• Experience with manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Panasonic or Fujitsu
