Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking an Air Conditioning Engineer for a data centre contract in Hertfordshire. The role covers planned and reactive commercial maintenance on a range of HVAC systems, with a focus on service and fault-finding across split systems, VRVs/VRFs, AHUs and associated plant.

The successful candidate will be AC qualified (City & Guilds Level 2) and able to provide trade certificates. Electrical knowledge is preferred and prior experience in building services is advantageous.

Qualifications

• AC qualified with City & Guilds Level 2.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.
• Experience in commercial building maintenance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance on split systems, VRVs, VAVs, VRFs, AHUs, FCUs, chillers and HVAC/refrigeration plant.
• Pressure leak tests and compressor changes.
• Electrical knowledge is beneficial to maintenance tasks.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting an air conditioning engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across a data centre contract. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

This position would be ideal for an Air Conditioning Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression. In return, the company are offering a competitive salary

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Air conditioning and refrigeration - Service/maintenance
• Your main duties will be service and maintenance on split systems, VRVs, VAV's and VRF's, AHU's, FCU's, Chillers and all HVAC and refrigeration plant.
• Pressure leak tests
• Compressor changes
• Electrical Knowledge would be beneficial.
• Extensive building services knowledge

Hours of Work & Package Information

• Monday to Friday 8:00 am-17:00 pm
• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Up to £44,000
