Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to cover a data centre contract across Kent. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance on a range of commercial HVAC systems, in a van-mobile capacity, with opportunities for training and progression.

Applicants should hold City & Guilds Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration and an essential F-Gas qualification, with proven experience in commercial maintenance and strong fault-finding skills.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications required; copies may be requested.
• F-Gas qualification is essential.
• Proven experience in commercial air conditioning maintenance.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC/refrigeration systems; electrical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on commercial AC and refrigeration systems.
• Service and maintain split systems, VRVs/VRFs, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and related HVAC plant.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs across cooling systems.
• Perform pressure testing, leak detection, compressor replacements, and brazing.
• Ensure data centre plant operates efficiently and safely.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Liaise with clients to provide professional, customer-focused service.

Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - FM Service Provider - Data Centre Contract - Kent - Up to £44,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading FM service provider, covering a data centre contract across the Kent area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AC Engineer looking to work on a prestigious contract with genuine opportunities for further training and career progression. The successful candidate will carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance across a range of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems while working in a van-mobile role.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00 am - 17:00 pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
• Servicing and maintaining split systems, VRVs, VRFs, VAVs, AHUs, FCUs, chillers, and associated HVAC plant.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs across a range of cooling systems.
• Completing pressure testing, leak detection, compressor replacements, and brazing works.
• Working across a prestigious data centre contract while ensuring plant operates efficiently.
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Liaising with clients and providing a professional, customer-focused service.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current industry standards.

Requirements:

• City & Guilds Level 2 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
• F-Gas Qualification (Essential)
• Proven experience within commercial air conditioning maintenance
• Good working knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Electrical knowledge would be advantageous
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Must be able to provide copies of trade qualifications
