Job summary

MBDA UK Ltd invites undergraduates to join the Integration & Missile Validation team for a 12-month placement starting September 2027. You will work on ground, flight, and functional tests to prove missile systems and learn hands-on lab practices in a real-world setting.

Applicants should be pursuing an Engineering, Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Technology, Computing or General Science degree and be eligible for BPSS security checks. The role is primarily on-site with dynamic workload.

Qualifications

Current undergraduate pursuing a degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Technology, Computing or General Science.

Responsibilities

Ground Trials: testing robustness through vibration, shock and climatic testing.
Flight Trials: integrating subsystems onto aircraft to simulate missile flight.
Functional Integration: demonstrating hardware and software work together and respond as expected.
Firing Trials: final evaluation testing to ensure the full weapon system works and demonstrates capability to the customer.
In-Service Support: testing and monitoring in-service products with the customer.
Support Trials and Test Equipment: designing support test equipment and software to support proving activities.
