MBDA UK invites applications for an Integration & Missile Validation Engineer undergraduate placement for 2027. The role involves hands-on testing to prove missile systems meet requirements, including ground and flight trials, hardware/software integration, and in-service support.

Securing BPSS checks and a readiness for on-site work are required. Starting September 2027, the 1-year placement offers a pathway to a graduate role, with a company bonus and pension benefits, plus paid overtime and

Qualifications

Current undergraduate working towards a degree in an Engineering, Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Technology, Computing or a General Science discipline.

Responsibilities

Ground Trials: test robustness via vibration, shock and climate testing.
Flight Trials: integrate subsystems onto aircraft to simulate missile behaviour in flight.
Functional Integration: demonstrate hardware and software work together and respond as expected.
Firing Trials: final evaluation testing to prove full weapon system capabilities.
In-Service Support: test and monitor in-service products with customers.
Support Trials and Test Equipment: design test equipment and software to support proving activities.
