Job summary

MBDA is offering a 10-week Integration & Missile Validation Engineer Summer Placement Programme for 2027. The role focuses on planning and executing verification activities across missile programs, with hands-on lab work, test equipment handling, and data analysis.

Onsite work is expected five days per week, with BPSS security checks and a potential graduate offer upon successful completion. You will gain exposure to ground and flight trials, test planning, and reporting, while developing

Qualifications

• Currently an undergraduate studying an Engineering, Physics, Mathematical Sciences, Technology, Computing or General Science degree.

Responsibilities

• Ground Trials: test robustness in environments like vibration and climatic tests.
• Flight Trials: integrate subsystems onto aircraft to simulate missile flight behaviour.
• Functional Integration: demonstrate hardware and software working together as intended.
• Firing Trials: final evaluation tests to show product capability to customers.
• In-Service Support: test and monitor products with customers.
• Support Trials and Test Equipment: design test equipment and software to support proving activities.
